Some milestones mean a little more when you know how much work went into reaching them. For Oxagile’s Roku development team, this is one of those moments.
Oxagile is now officially listed in Roku’s third-party development directory. It’s an exciting recognition of the years the team spent building streaming applications, solving platform-specific problems, and helping OTT businesses deliver great viewing experiences on Roku devices.
And there’s quite a bit of experience behind this, as our engineers know BrightScript and SceneGraph inside out. They’ve tackled tricky playback and performance issues, handled Roku certification, and developed applications used by viewers every day.
This achievement also marks another chapter in Oxagile’s 20+ years in online video development. And the timing couldn’t be more interesting. With Roku’s recently announced Roku SceneGraph 2.0 (RSG 2.0) introducing TypeScript support, there’s a new chapter ahead for the ecosystem. Our engineers already have extensive TypeScript experience, and we’re looking forward to putting it to work on Roku.
We’re proud to see Oxagile featured among Roku’s official developer partners, and even prouder of the people and projects that got us here.
