Paving the way for value-based healthcare, our client, an innovative Ireland-based healthcare company, was looking to develop a mobile EHR solution that would enable physicians and clinical staff to make informed decisions on the spot and streamline care coordination. To ensure adoption even by non-techies, the solution needed to be easy to learn and simple to use.
Delivering a solution that fits clinical workflows, not disrupts them, was key for us. From the start, our UX experts were tightly aligned with the stakeholders to discover clinicians’ needs and map user journeys. We used prototypes and wireframes to bring everyone on the same visual page and make sure the mobile EHR meets strict usability requirements.
To help nurses and clinicians quickly get up to speed on patients, we have integrated various data sources including patient demographics, medical histories, treatment plans, lab and test results. The solution also supports unstructured data like clinical notes, radiology images, and videos to enable better analytics capabilities.
Designed for iPads, the mobile EHR solution enables clinicians to view and update patient charts and synchronizes patient data in real time to support care coordination. Rich core functionality including appointment management, e-prescribing, and clinical summaries make the solution a perfect companion for work on-the-go.
