Web Projects for Internet–Based Real Estate Service Provider

The client is a young and ambitious company that launched the largest database/informational portal of real estate units in Russia.

Oxagile is involved into a series of development and integration projects for a real estate portal. The main projects are:

• Spherical street view project. The goal of the project was to integrate Google and Yandex maps with a Flash player and add spherical street view (3D) functionality to the client’s portal.
• Real estate trends project. Project goal was to provide site users with opportunity to view real estate market analysis and market trends. Oxagile implemented a statistics module using Flash technology and successfully integrated it into customer’s existing real estate portal API.
• Automatic advertisement management project. The goal of the project was to implement and integrate a new module which allowed to create and manage real estate advertisements from both private persons and legal entities.
• House info paid view project. Project goal was to provide real estate portal users with paid opportunity to view additional information about the house they are interested in. The module implemented by Oxagile contained such features as SMS payments, payment options configuration, statistics and more.

The new and user-friendly interfaces implemented by Oxagile improved the number of visitors to customer’s web site and raised the amount advertisements published and viewed.

The system runs on a cluster of 8 Apache servers and memcached (distributed cache) servers backed up by Oracle database.
